Changes to your anti wrinkle appointment process, from 1st June!

Starting in June 2025, a face to face consultation will be mandatory before receiving any Botox treatments.

From 1st June 2025, nursing and midwifery prescribers will be required to consult with people face-to-face before issuing prescriptions. They must undertake and document an appropriate clinical assessment of the intended recipient of the medicine before they prescribe any products.

Once prescribed by a regulated professional, the medicines can be administered by another professional who does not have a prescribing qualification such as a standard nurse or non medic aesthetics practitioner, such as Chelle.

What does this mean for you, the client?

Whether you currently have anti-wrinkle injections with Chelle, or any other clinic, you must have two appointments, moving forward. This is across the board, so if you are able to obtain your tox injections in one sitting, you should be asking questions as to why.

Your first appointment is to have your prescription created by Chelle's assigned prescriber. Chelle will then order your medicine and in turn see you for a second appointment to administer your tox. You can then as a matter of course, return 2 weeks later for a review.

You will then have to repeat this process the next time you wish to have your Botox, a few months later.

How will this work for you personally?

• Please enquire via the website if you know you wish to have anti wrinkle services with Chelle

• Chelle will add you to the list to contact for all available prescriber hub dates and locations

• Chelle's lovely prescriber, 'Jo', will see you for a few minutes at one of a few locations and with different times slots available across the area (whichever is best for you is the one you attend)

• Chelle will then see you as normal for your anti wrinkle appointment once she has ordered your prescription, then again 2 weeks later for a review if required

• Even if you have just had your tox, or are not yet ready for your next appointment, please still attend a prescription session if you find one that is convenient as the script lasts 6 months and this means Chelle will have it ready for your next required appointment, whenever this may be.

• Chelle will keep all her social media updated as well as send newsletters on new dates for prescription hubs, so please keep your eyes peeled

What do you need to do now?

Nothing, if you have already booked an anti wrinkle service for June onwards, Chelle will oversee and be in touch if there is anything you need to do.

For any appointments yet to be booked, please keep an eye out for prescription dates on Chelle's social media due to be posted over the next week or so. You can then let Chelle know which one you would like to attend and she'll arrange it for you.
